I recently purchased and then promptly (the next day) installed a set of Fabtech Floating Traction Bars. Install was simple and relatively quick even though drilling of the frame is required. Having an angle drill makes life easier to get the side bolt hole drilled. I was worried that I might need to adjust my AMP steps to clear the bars, but everything has enough clearance.
The ride is unchanged as the shackle mount allows the suspension to travel unhindered, but the axle wrap has been eliminated completely.
I know I should have pictures but I'm such a useless photographer that you will need to use your imagination to picture how they look. Maybe one day I will add some Loafer Lightener to my morning coffee, but until then my artistic side will remain under wraps.
