traction help please

On my 99' I had too much traction at 25 psi which resulted in a lot of wheel hop. I had to go up to 35 psi so it would spin just a little when I first hit the tires and it really helped my truck launch straight and smooth.

Zach, sounds like you've got a good game plan with 30 rear and 35 front.

FYI, on my lowly 499 HP truck, 55 psi front and rear with 285's was a spin-fest off the line. 45psi was much better for launching but was still too much spin for great 60' times. 35psi was the magic number for my truck setup. My truck is a 5 speed so it does hit the tires a lot harder than normal, more like a transbrake.

I don't know if they make one that will fit a dually, but you might try some toyo proxes or nitto nt420s tires. Just put the 40s on mine and they stick pretty well.
