I am ordering all my part for a truck biuld.

truck is a 2006 cummins qcsb, thuren 2 inch lift, 33.5" tires

ATP EFI v2 tuned by Rob, dual cp3s, flux 4s(200 hp injectors), twins 63/80, and other supporting mods.

On my trans is it worth the extra $$$$ 900-1000 for the billet intermediate shaft.

The truck is my Daily Driver. will be ran a few times at the track to see what it will do, tows some like 10,000lbs max (will be ran on lower setting). and 4wd launches at low boost, 10-15lbs

any advice???

I would save the money. We broke the billet input before the stock intermediate or stock output gave out. Just my $.02

X2 on saving the money. I have yet to even break my stock output shaft and I've done some stupid 35psi launches. Your intermediate will be fine.

IMO you can do a lot on a billet input and output.

Stock intermediate will be fine up to around 800rwhp.

I've always herd that u don't have to have one unless u just want one but I'm going to run my stock one tell it breaks

Well i know will be a surprise, but i broke a stock one with only 550-600 hp back in the day.

It's the long shaft lying down near the left of the pic.. The piece that broke off is lying just to the left of it up front..

yep. i broke an "opie" intermediate on a 30 psi launch.

looked like someone cut it with a hack saw.

ill never waste that money again. but i too, used to be "lock up switch happy"
