Has any one tried a ridged trans shield for a 727 on a 47rh-re? I don't see why it wouldn't work. Something like the one pictured. Thanks in advance.

I don't know. You would probably have to modify them. The instruction say you might have to modify your trans tunnel on curtain applications. I didn't know if any one has ran one in a truck application. The blanket would be easier. NHRA says blankets are rated at 2 years and ridged shields 5 years. That's why I was looking at the ridged.
 
I bought one last year thinking it would work on my 48 but it wouldn't come close. The tabs wouldn't even line up with the bolts. You would have to redo all the tabs to make it work.
 
Talked to Stroud about their blankets. They said they can recertify them when they get out dated. I'm going to go the blanket route. I know it will fit.
