Transmission tuning?

The EFI Live website states...

This product contains 2 VIN licenses. You can tune any 2 engine controllers and any 2 transmission controllers with those 2 VIN licenses.

I know the 48RE is electronically controlled but is it tunable and what all can be adjusted?

It is semi-electrically controlled, you won't need to spend a VIN license on it. We are patiently waiting for the next software update for transmission tuning..

TCM tables are contained within the ECM for this controller, so you can save your transmission VIN for another vehicle.

We will add support for whatever TCM functions we can in a future release. I don't have a time frame for this at this point.
