triple turbos

hmm, it would be interesting to see what really happened to that motor... bad day sheesh

A boot blowing at that much pressure could do that...

My favorite is the killer mack and the dr. diesel trucks.

A boot? :what: It's more like the engine split in half!

You figure that hes prolly pushing what 140-200lbs of boost through probably a 4" boost tube....yeah if that blows it would easiely blow the hood open..

My dad drives a 379 Pete and if you grab back behind the fenders you can lift the hood open with one hand, so if the boot/ tube is towards the cab and it came apart... thats what I think would happen anyway.

Watch the video close. No engine ive ever seen sits that way in the truck and you can see it move if you look close.

I thought the engine block rocketing up off the bed plate is what done that.

WOW!!! I definitely stand corrected! I apologize. Didn't notice that the first time...guess I should have watched it all and listened to what the announcer said.

NP, that vid was the first one that came out on the site as I remember, actually just stumbled on it again. I guess the word is when you split a block your making some power.
