01 24v P-pump truck. Just swapped to an nv4500 from 47re. Truck is a dedicated puller. Needless to say the previous owner fubar'd the entire engine harness and trans harness so I just unbolted it from where it connects to the fusebox. Finally finished odds and ends tonight and went to start it tonight and turn the key and NOTHING. I know it has to be something stupid but what needs grounded to get this thing to crank? I know there are plenty of harnessless pullers out there. :bang:

Should have added, I know it's a neutral safety switch issue. But I already think I solved my problem and am just going to wire in a button to start it.

The neutral safety switch at the transmissions connector has to be grounded to allow the starter relay to close. You could just ground the wire wherever you disconnected the harness
