Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Was 07 a split year? Cuz my rig is an 07 and its a 379

Thanks! The 480 is about 115k lbs. I am only legal to 158k on 8 axles so I'm just a little over weight with it

Been waitin on you to update your haulin pics. Is 12K over just a little in FL.? LOL I'm assuming you are about 55K with stinger? I got mine down to 49,600 with 8 closed and 53,900 with 8 open(stinger).

Nope, all '07's were 379's and all '08's were 389's.

i thought they were split too but never looked into it. so for 07 the 379 came in standard and legacy models? my idea was in 07 it was 379 legacy only and 389's at the same time.

the build date on mine is june(i think) 07. always called it an 07. i need to do my homework lol!

You are correct, the 07's were the 379 Legacy and the 08's were 389. Just like my new W900 built in Feb. 12 but is a '13 model. I was even confused on mine, I was calling it a '12.

That's what I thought, so his rig is an 08 then
Ten fo! His registration should say '08 389. It's a 389 for sure, can tell by the DPF, panel behind front fenders, and grille. Loving the KW-like turn signals on the fenders, or he'll probably say 359-like!LOL

its the biggest we have:doh:

I have to move a Volvo EC460 from time to time, I can get under gross but still over axle without my stinger! It has the biggest grousers I've ever hauled. Those big machines are easier to haul than the smaller ones, because everyone gets the hell out of the way.

im sticking with 359 like blinkers lol

the dpf has been pretty trouble free on this truck..only had one new outlet temp sensor with harness. i dont like it but boss says it has to stay..in his mind if you start modifying things it will blow up!

Been a Pete guy all my life, bought a '94 W900 tandem dump last year and now this '13 W900L, starting to grow on me! I really like the extended cab! Very roomy for a daycab. The Cummins is still in question though! I've given up 2 Cummins trucks to get back into a Cat. It's doing pretty good so far after we had a tune written for it by Cummins Marine Div. Even drives like a Cat now!
