trying to get into 12s

I would only run shift defuel off at the track. Didn't like it on the streets.

well i just went past hotrod diesel and let him take my truck for a drive. he agreed that something was not right, we loaded up tnt sw9 with shift defuel off. man that makes a huge difference lol taking off at 20psi would spin the tires in 4x4. now i cant wait to get to the track haha
thanks for everyones help

Good deal, most people don't realize the difference that makes. $.02

anyone running 2WD? (not a 4x4 is 2hi)

A few man, but the only three I know of first hand are standards. They all suffer from traction issues at the track. I think that's a problem most often remedied by some slicks.

I have to agree. Especially for the 2nd gear lockup factor :Cheer:

edit: sorry for the triple post, should've used multi-quote

now im wondering if i should still try to get some smaller tires for the track. do they really make that much difference?

I say try it like it sits now, with shift defueling off. I run 33x13.50's and I think the traction outweighs most of the negative effects from larger tires- to an extent.
