Turbo oil drain size

I am working on replacing leaking turbo drains and came up with the idea to use -8 an line and some adapters for oil drains. Is this going to be big enough? I don't want to push the seals out of my turbos. Any help would be appreciated.

I used 7/8" hydrolic hose but others (somehow) got 3/4" to work.

hey joe, -8 should be fine, i used 7/8" line from www.boostcontroller.com . used silicone hose for the turbo drain and the crankcase vent.

-8 is 1/2" ID. Stock is 7/8", why go smaller?

I used -10 line and it seems to be okay right now.

On my 24v 98 it's roughly 3/4" ID, so I would guess that around that size would be fine.

I used -10 aeroquip and welded -10*3/4npt onto the metal lines.

Well the idea is to have the AN fitting right at the turbo and on in the block. I will have to see how big a fitting I can get at the turbo. Thanks for the input.
