I want to update my turbo ( hx35)

Anyone one have any opinions on this?

What about this?

holset hx 40 ( hx 40 pro ..... super 60).

60 / 65 / 18cm 4 " dp

7 blade billet compressor wheel
10 blade turbine wheel

compressor 60mm inducer 91mm exducer
turbine 74mm exducer 65mm inducer

t3 divided 18cm wastegated

Any input on this?

If you get a deal, jump on it. Otherwise do a hybrid or just buy a S300
 
Why you say this. Does it do a great job? Is there alot of lag vrs the 35?

What numbers do you think I can put down?

HX40 is one of the oldest upgrades, not a huge improvement, but an improvement. They don't like to be barked...
 
ive got a brand new super hx40 with a 16cm t3 gated housing. It pulls a heck of alot harder than a hx35.... but on the other hand my hx35 has a 1/4 inch groove in the blades :bang

Fair upgrade, im definatley in the 400hp range of things now.

Traction? whats that? hehe :evil

I did search and alot of people said about the xh40 not the super 40.

I am trying to see how this one is. I think it will take way to long to boost and not give me to high of hp?

I was told to use a htt 64 71 13ss....ect...et....

I am wondering does anyone know what the specs are for this turbo

compressor inducer?
compressor exducer?

turbine inducer?
turbine ecducer?

13ss is the exhaust size. What are these numbers?

thanks we are trying to figure out this hx 40 turbo to compair...
 
The HX40 is an alright turbo. You need a 16cm housing though. The 18cm wont be much fun.

What is your fueling setup? 175 pump?

Well I tried the hx40 pro. It is very close to the stock turbo. Im trying to find out what did I miss it flows lbs of air more so I should be up to 500 hp at the wheels with my mods.

I wounder what is holding me back?

oh both are set at 40 psi

97 6bt, 16.5 *, dynamite 75 (stage 2) , 25 psi ,180 pump, no plate, rack/mack plug , 60 pound springs, 01 47 re ats standalone , 3 disk , 373, arb
 
probly add some more fuel with .022's or .024's i have the exact same setup, minus the inj. pump (mine is a 160)

i would think you need more fuel just cause with the super 40 i am clearing up ok.

im trying the same thing too, 500hp on a super 40 :evil:ft:
