Just thought I'd throw out there that I am just wrapping up a body swap on 1995 Dodge Ram 3500 with a friend. Ended up using a 1999 Dodge Ram Quad cab from a 1/2 ton and a box off a 2000 Ram. Used the original '95 dash and steering column & entire dash & chassis harness. These were the only components left from the '95 in the cab. One of the biggest pains was the A-pillars. Had to use the '99's and found that the a '99 triple gauge pod does not fit with the '95 dash and the '95 pillars are too short leaving a gab to the headliner. Ended up using a 2 gauge pod and put the 3rd in the dash where the OD & fog-light switches are. Had to splice the '95 & '99 cab harness together and was not that bad. Just wire ID was the big discrepancy from what the wiring schematics say. All in all, really surprised it went as well as it did.

Cool deal. It makes these older Dodges much more enjoyable/passenger friendly having quad cab vs extended cab.

Agreed. Well that and the fact the original extended cab was pretty much rotting off the frame!
