Urgent, porting advice

Guys my motor is days away from assembly and I am still going back and forth about porting the heads......will it make enough difference to warrant the cost or should I stay away from porting them? If ported, will they cause any long term issues? Looking for some advice please...... I know you 6.0 guys will help....

Doesn't your signature already state you are going to put the Elite ported heads on your truck. I'm not quite sure what they port on the intake manifold since they don't open them up.

no, its the stage I cam, ported intake manifold, valvetrain and pushrods from elite. The head porting will be done locally by a machine shop.....thats why I am asking. Porting my stock heads.........

It will pick up CFM if you port it. It will need some serious porting to pick up flow in the bottom end. Shoot me a text message and I'll give you a shout when I get free.
