Its been awhile since I posted on this project. Well I got it down to 2 remaining codes , cylinder 6 missfire and crankcase vent disconected. I had no emissions codes. This has been a long road, alot of learning . Well we went on a 2800 mile trip with it ,over all everything was great but for one problem. We got caught in a bad traffic accident near cincinatti OH and about an hour into the delay the truck needed to regen, for me to do a regen I need to be going atleast 45 and a 8 mile streatch. As we sit creeping along at 1 mph the filter starts getting fuller and once it reaches 100% it will black out my display and tell me to go to the dealer. I managed to get over and take a ramp at 95%. So this is a problem for me because when we are out on the road and stop for the night I generally leave the truck run all nigth, I cant do that with this system.There may be ways to over come this problem but we are moving to detroit and do not have the time at the moment to sort this out. So because I already have the 4th gen electrical and DEF system on it I had to pull my engine and put a stock 6.7 into the truck.I hated having to do it but it was the fastest fix for the moment.This has all been a good learning experament ,I have learnt more than most know about the inner working of the cr electrical system. Because we are moving I am going to sell my engine ,its one less thing to have to worry about moving,I did list it on ebay
