Is there any working aftermarket stand alone controller for the HE351ve?
That not only rad boost or dp, but also works great on cruising on light load?

Hello.

Im not a member of that site, but thru google i think i found out thats Banshee controller you linked to?

I read a little about it, and it seems like an impressing build, but it seems to me that its controlled by boost only or?

When you cruise, and boost/load goes down, will not the controller get the turbine housing smaller, and trying to build boost?

Please tell me if wrong.

The Banshee II VGT controller is fully stand alone with a few options depending on the application. Also has outputs for turbo position, rpm and boost pressure.

Howdy. Suprock technologies/Ubertechnics makes a true stand-alone VGT controller for the Holset 351vgt [ame="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6j4j5G4wnE"]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6j4j5G4wnE[/ame][URL="http://ubertchnics.com"]http://ubertchnics.com[/URL][ame="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5QrLgMe3og"]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5QrLgMe3og[/ame][/URL]

My question is can it run two?:Cheer:

On edit: first video sucked...my bad. Linked another one here-[ame="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc-XAi3ljgk"]http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pc-XAi3ljgk[/ame]

You can also use an Arduino, and just look up VGT code, and you should be able to drop it in. Just turn up the smoothing factor a bit on most of the ones floating around the internet.

Thanks.

Is it your product? Looks like a professional product.
But i have a question:

Did you not need TPS?
I mean low rpm and high throttle(acceleration)
Low rpm low throttle (cruise)
Will not these scenarios need different vane position?

On acceleration will not the turbin housing go low to get speed an the turbo, and then gradually open up.
On cruise, the turbin housing will be big, to reduce back pressure?

Or did i get it wrong?

Thanks

As far as I know mine is the only true universial plug n play controller which requires no modification to the turbo actuator.

I don't use the TPS, eventually I'll like to have that option so it and slightly open while you take your foot off the gas and close up when you accerate.

Sadly my controler inputs are maxed out, hopefully my next generation controller will have that option. Which will be a remote and wiring harness upgrade to this one so it will save people some money who wants the newest one.

Right now when your boost drops the vane closes up and opens when you build boost. Of your cruising for a long distance you can adjust the first knob in the picture to manually lower pressure. Works great, then the second knob adjust got fast the vane actuates in relation to boost. Third knob and switch adjust how much braking pressure you have.

Then there are three exhuast brake options 98.5,02 and 93-07 Cummins connects to the ecu so it kicks in when you take your foot off the gas. Then there's a universal version for everyone else. The 03-07 version also enables to factory high idle.

Let me know if you have any question's

Thanks for all input.

Is it possible to use this system? http://dmn.kuulalaakeri.org/vnt-lda/
Using an vaccum-wastegate like the garrett vnt do?
Or will the turbo be to strong for the wastegate? When you get drive pressure the force that want to extend the housing maybe is bigger than the force from the wastegate-lever?
