violent shaking

Today our work truck started shaking violently while accelerating above 70mph. It felt similar to dodge death wobble, but the steering wheel did not shake.

Does it do it while free revving? Driveshaft? Bent wheel in the rear?

My LBZ did that; the driveshaft slung a balance weight. Check for a new looking spot on the shaft.

Its only while accelerating then it continues gor a couple seconds after you let off to cruise. Its not fast enough to be a drive line problem.

Pin on the balancer kinked? Does it do it with rpm or just speed?
