no there a different size and iirc the pupm shaft is slightly tapered also, but you could just machine a spacer that was keyed in there to make up the difference
 
arent you custom machining your own vp pump?

the injection pumps shaft is tapered and the cams arent.
 
You can use the offset keys for either the cam gear or pump gear, ~ 24-25° is the limit with an unmodified piston/case.

One tooth on the cam is 5°, and one tooth on the pump gear is 5°.
 
10° of crank rotation equals 5° of injection timing. If you move the pump gear 5°, it advances/retards the timing 5°, if you move the cam gear 5°, it advances/retards the centerline 5°.

it was a dumb question, but did you look @ the link? A pair of these and a split timing cover would make dial-in on a dyno pretty easy with no chance of dropping a key.

Those things are cool. But pretty spendy. It would be nice though. Especially for the Cam gear. The VP gear isn't so bad with the cover off. Yanking the cam just to switch the Key kinda sucks. I haven't tried it, but I don't think my bolt on cam gear is just going to pop off easily though.
