Water/meth kit install pics

UNBROKEN

Ezekiel 25:17
Finally got around to finishing this thing up today. The kit is from Alcohol Injection Systems and uses a 3 gallon tank with the pump mounted to the tank on the bottom.
I put it in my tool box in the bed with some other stuff to keep it all clean and out of sight.

Another shot of the tank mounted. I ran the power wire and -4 hose to the passenger side and passed it through the floor next to the hose from the air tank. I used grommets on both the tank and bed floor.

Here's where I mounted the nozzles. I had dedicated bungs welded to the new aluminum piping just for this kit. All the hoses are -4 braided stainless and you can see the Y-block I used instead of the supplied T just because I thought it looked better.

Fuzzy pic but you can see where I had another bung added just behind the BOV to run the boost line to the sensor the fires the system up by the firewall. I had that hose made myself...it wasn't supplied with the kit.

I put the supplied LED light right next to my boost gauge. Obviously it's only on when the system fires off.

And finally....had to have something to put in the tank. I don't trust washer fluid to be consistent so I grabbed 5 gallons of methanol to mix my own.
Grabbed a couple gallons of distilled water, mixed it up and the system fired perfectly on the first test.

And....that's how I spent my day today.

I talked it over with my tuner...he feels like the tune that's in it is fine. If I notice it doing anything sketchy we'll have to revisit that...although now that it's in there it sure does have me thinking about pullying up to 10-12 psi or so. LOL

if buying reverse osmosis water gets to be a drag you can buy tap mount setups and make your own at home, thats what I did when i ran straight water trying to keep things cool before the s480 was added and brought in enough air to keep it cool enough.

Whos kit did you end uo going with? Did you feel a power increase? Or a egt drop? As always slick work!

It's the Alcohol Injection Systems kit. I took it out today to dial in the boost setting it fires at...seems to have picked up some power for sure. I mixed at 50/50. I had other stuff to do today so I didn't play with it much.
