met's machine has been doing weighted cranks for a long time. I think they are fully counterweighted. They told me a guy that bought one of their cranks took his truck out (5.9 by the way) and took off and when it lit, it took off and he couldn't get it stopped and blew through a stop sign. That would be inertia. It is great for sled pulling only but not on the street.
