Actually, I rode in a truck with a big propane kit on it a few years ago, and it was pretty cool. About 80hp, cleaned up the smoke a little (nowhere like nitrous) and fuel economy goes all crazy. I've heard injection system components don't like 'pane though.

I remember when Jeff Dean had it on his truck for Diesel Power Challenge 2008, and he said propane was like 79 cents a gallon in his area. That's a lot cheaper than diesel!
