Which trans line for auxiliary fan ?

Do I plumb the auxiliary trans cooler between the line connection at the front or the rear of the trans . I am keeping the factory cooler installed .

I am thinking I disconnect the AN fitting at the back of the trans and plumb the cooler to the line I disconnected and then plumb the other cooler line back to the trans .

Is this correct ?

The front line is the hot line, the rear line is the return. Since you're keeping the factory cooling setup, I would do like you're thinking and pull the rear line. Then add the cooler to that side of the loop. Otherwise you'd potentially be heating up (using engine coolant) your cooled fluid.
