widdling it down

took my truck up to the drags yesterday for a test and tune session, they were only letting us make 1/8 mile passes, kinda sucked but truck ran good, ran my best 1/8th ET and best 1/8th mph. ran several 8.7Xs with high 1.8 low 1.9 60s. best of the day 1.84 60, 8.68 1/8th and 77.44 trap. this is an 06 super cab short bed 4x4 with custom egr delete, SCT running xtreme race, 5" turbo back & 33x13x18 nitto terra grapplers. race weight was around 7150, truck was in street trim minus centercaps. definitly going to try strapping the front end down next time, hopefully get into the 1.7 60ft area and shave some more ET off, maybe even do a little weight reduction but i like to race in street trim.
