ok i need some help my buddy has a 07 duramax and a edge chip for it he is trying to sell the chip that is on his 07 to me for my 04 will that chip work on my truck
 
yeah thats what i told my bubby but he still thinks it will work i just wanted someone elses opp so i can prove to him he is wrong
 
The 07 LBZ is a totally different Operating system then the 04 LLY or LB7. He is wrong. Remember your LBZ is making more power stock then what his LB7 or LLY is making on a tow tune or even a street tune. I know nothing about edge products so I am no0t sure of the power gains they advertise.
 
totally different inj controller for one. BB88 is correct.
