WTB 06-07 Manual ECM

If you can't get one procured, I have two 2006 manual ones coming in by week's end.

Thanks Mark, I will see where this goes. BTW what # should i be looking for to know what the ECM is?

Here's the numbers I recall:

4937148, 2006 manual transmission.

4937149, 2006 auto transmission.

4931973, 2006 manual transmission.

4931975, 2006 automatic transmission.

4931978, 2007 manual transmission.

4931980, 2007 auto. transmission.

Something to note, the number 4931980 ECM has been used as a service replacement by MoPar.
I've seen them used on every other 2006-2007 5.9 application.
Be wary of these, they have been known to have issues with locking down if you try to reprogram them.
These units are usually readily identifiable, as they have no ESN assigned on a large sticker on the rear tag and they look rather "plain", as compared to an OEM assembly line unit.

All of these ecm numbers listed above also bear the "CM849*" designation, in the "CM" category on the large front tag. The "CM849" will oftentimes be followed by a letter designation, which is A-G.

Sorry if this isnt on topic but is there a difference between 07 6.7l Auto and manual ECM other then programing? I though it the was the same ECM and different programing?

Mark, I found a ECM that is a 4931980 but it has a ESN # printed on the tag. Would that make it a original ECM and not a Service unit

If it has BOTH tags, one on the front, and on th back, it's likely an ECM installed at the assembly plant, NOT a service replacement.

Mark.
