I bought a 4bt that had an 545 Allison behind it. Not sure which number housing it is. Is there a way to tell because I don't need it.

I bought a 4bt that had an 545 Allison behind it. Not sure which number housing it is. Is there a way to tell because I don't need it.

The measure meant across the face. Mount surface. It will be 12 bolt circle mount. And 17 5/8" across the mount face. That will make it a #2

It is the flywheel housing I'm after btw not the bellhousing. I have the bellhousing for the tranny. My mistake in the title.

Find one? I'm pretty sure I have one off my 4b

I haven't nailed one down yet. One local lead fell through. It was a #3 housing. And pass side starter.

I need #2 FWH. Driverside starter.

Ok I have 2 options for #2 housings but both are passenger side starters. One high one low mount. Let me know if that will help you out.

Ohhhh k thanks. It will be a bear I think with twins in a superduty chassis if the starter is there too.
