Our Buddy Timbeaux needs our help.

I just got off the Phone with Heather, Tim's Wife, who is here in Austin still. Their house was hit by a large tornado. Tim and Chloe are ok, but were trapped in the basement when the storm hit. Apparently it moved their house 8 feet off the foundation and part of it collapsed into the basement. I talked to Tim and they were butterflying up his foot so apparently their were some wounds, but he sounded ok yet a little frantic.

I am an f-5 survivor from 1974 I have been there. There are going to be some ****ty days in the near future, and depending upon how bad things are, a lot of things are going to be needed. I am going to start a fund right now to help them out while things get moving along. Insurance is slow. From talking to Tim, it sounds like the house is a total loss.

Right now I know everyone is concerned about Tim and thinking about calling him to make sure he is OK. He will appreciate it more right now if you don't Call. He has a lot to worry about, and I'm sure his Cell is being burnt up taking care of his Family.

The Best show of Support you ca give is to Donate to the PayPal account.

A lot of people ask me what they can do to Support the Site right now I am asking that you donate to Help Tim and his Family get through this Tragedy.

Thanks Tim and Phil!!

Tim, I'll make the check to you if that's Okay?
That way you can add it to the pot quickly!

They have insurance, but I can tell you It will not cover all and it is slow to help. If your uncomfortable sending to paypal, donate to the Birmingham red cross. They helped us out when we lost everything years ago. Great organization.

Wow...this is horrible news.

Glad to hear him and his daughter are ok though. That is a very scary thing I'm sure. I'll be sure to send what I can when I can...

Going to paypal right now. Sorry to hear Timbeaux. I wish I was closer I'd come help you do what ever you need man. Maybe a little $$$ will help ya.

Once again, Please Don't Call Tim right now. He'll call you or be on in a few days to explain the whole ordeal.

Guy once again if you have ever wanted to help CompD out, Donate to the PayPal account.

Thanks Guys!

Phil

Damn that sucks, prayers sent with all of them, i'll paypal some money over tomorrow. Sure glad everyone is alright.

Prayers sent! Tim is a great guy anyone here would want to be friends with even if he was a gas driver! Im sending my paypal in a few minutes bud!

I was in a major tornado as a child in our farm house and that is some scary stuff and I remember the burden on my folks trying to recover even having good insurance. Our family of 7 kids were split up and lived with various family and neighbors for a few monthes just trying to survive.

I was hit with a flood in June 08 at my home and shop and had almost 3 foot of water running in the highest spots of my property and without the help of many diesel guys I wouldnt know what I would have done. This is a great time to pay it forward for those that have been helped out in life in some way.
