Working on next years schedule and we have recieved a lot of emails asking about having the World Finals in Vegas.

Heartland Park, Topeka Kansas

or

Las Vegas Motor Speedway

What is everyone thoughts?

Vegas x2! I've actually never raced there, but I helped out crewing there once (first year the new track was open). If nothing else the rain issue should be eliminated there. Maybe even get it scheduled for the week before the NHRA national event, which is itself just before the SEMA show. A few trucks (like DirtyMax) will be in SEMA anyway, so they could probably be stored down there for the week before the show.

I'll hopefully be testing the track out in a few weeks for a big $ bracket race down there.

East Coast to: Lets see 1250 miles vs 2220 miles. Have to make a week of it to come to Vegas. That sounds OK too.

Well if we don't get a better show of guys from the east then we did this year then I'd vote for Las Vagas, as well. I think the back and forth idea is a good one, it's also about 800 miles closer for me.

Vegas is the vote for us as well.
I like the alternating idea it makes it pretty even for everyone then.

We have about 4 hours less of driving for us to go to Vegas.

We need to here from people that would of whent if it was in Vegas vs Topeca as well this year. Its all about keeping this thing going I would like to see poll go out to all of the NHRDA members and have a voting poll on the NHRDA web site. This is just my two cents from some who`s not doing the work, just idea's.

I was busy that weekend so couldn't go. If I wasnt busy I would have not gone to Topeka but would have gone to Vegas. We race there every year with the promod cars in the end of November at the street car super nationals. It's about a 10 hour tow which is just about the max I will do for a diesel event. I say go for Vegas because I am wantin to go to the finals because I'm goin for divison 2 winner next year! No more ties for first, better watch out Harvey!

cannery casino and hotel is close to the track, has awesome parking for truck and trailers, woohoo, i'm super excited for worlds next year
