What would be the best acert to start with for a swap? I think I've had enough of the B, I haven't had the greatest luck with them in the past and this one seems to be following the trend.

Having a gasket replaced at a shop and this happens the night the truck sat there. Somehow the other truck started rolling in the middle of the night and this is what happend. They told me the brakes were set.

BXS first, MXS/NXS second choice.

If they are using Chinese brake chambers they probably were set. But there’s a good chance the springs were broke in the chambers.

The good news is you don’t have a new one piece cab truck or that would be a total loss.

Ok, I'll start looking around. Used acerts are about 50% cheaper than 6nz or down. I thought about looking for an mbn and fixing it but there doesn't seem to be many left.

Nah go for the 6NZ so you can be like the uber douchebags that think there isn’t another engine around that will out preform them.

The 2ws has gone up a bunch too, the acerts are even cheaper than some of the 40 pins. I found a couple bridges but they're priced higher than I expected.

I came across a 40 pin locally. Supposedly all there but in pieces. For a grand. I shoulda got it

Blocks usually sell for $1000, Volvo’s on the other hand are priceless........by priceless i mean you can’t get a bid because everyone doesn’t know Leiffi’s secret.
 
Buddy of mine from Illinois has a 94 daycab that had a pretty solid running e model in it. Cracked the block and he just swapped in a bxs. Supposed to be 700 area now. It’s for sale if you guys know of anyone in the market.
