Lsm's Billet Aluminum Block

WADEWADEWADEWADEWADE.

that is sexy...Nothing but a carbon fiber block could even come close to topping that

The block is fully water jacketed and has steel main caps. The main studs
are 9/16" top fuel main studs with 1/2" cross bolts. The bore is standard
size.

Beautiful.

Now that is pure gear head porn right there!! Gonna have me a new desktop background now.
I'd would have loved to had a hand in the design process. Being paid to design/replicate a Cummins block, hell you wouldn't have to pay me!

So I guess the next real question is strength compared to a stock block, and a stock filled block, or a stock block sleeved with darton sleeves (think haisely's 6.7 sleeved down to 5.9)?

Obviously it won't be as strong as the dry 4140 steel version, but it is also much lighter, and could go rounds / be hot lapped.

If it is stronger then a full fill stock block, and at least as strong as the sleeved block, I know a few people that will be ordering.

i'll let those interested know that this block that is pictured is set at this price for this one block only.

This was a block made for marine use and the customer has not paid for it yet, so it's for sale.

Future blocks will be more due to the extensive work in this block.

Water jackets have about 2-3 days more work involved, lead time is about 8-10 weeks

Solid blocks will be about 15-20 lbs heavyer

Also LSM has Billet heads and cast heads being made as well for the cummins.

Yes it is stronger, lighter, and repairable over a stock block.
