Finally got around to pulling the engine out of my pulling truck to make room for the new one when it's ready. The truck had 218,000 miles when I got it, and I have put about 12,000 on it since I got it in 2006. Not sure on the number of hooks on the engine, but I would say at least 200, several passes down the drag strip, and I beat the piss out of it on the street. All things considered, I don't think the engine looks to bad for what it's been through. Nothing special about this engine. Only engine mods were a helix 2 cam and some head work. Here are some pics.

Cylinder walls starting to show a little wear.
Lobe starting to go on the Helix 2. Was hoping to get a couple hundred dollars out of this. Looks like its scrap now :doh:
