no, it would not. yes you could drive it on the street but with 700hp 12v single, its going to be SMOKEY.

I would try to get more out of what you have first....11's or 12's should be no problem with the VP as long as you have traction. Are you willing to use nitrous at the dragstrip?

You don't need crap to get time slips under 13.0. If you have 500hp you should easily get that now. I ran 11's with 638hp in a extended cab truck.

avatar truck is gone lol. new little twin truck here now and also have a spare 1999 tahoe with a new ve motor getting ready lol.

12 valves seem to be smokier than 24V with a p-pump at the same power level. I think that's why I've stayed with the 24V head. Maybe it's something to do with the low lift flow numbers of the head. Maybe it's a better design to have the injector in the center of the head spraying fuel into a bowl in the center of the piston. Don't really know.
