Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Old truck with new one.

Finally got the wet kit on. I had a split tank already just painted it and put it one here. I think it will help this winter keeping the fluid warm.

I spent yesterday morning working on a 1975 White Road Boss with a 350hp Cummins. It has been sitting for eight years untouched. Luckily the guy mowed around it regularly. I put batteries, new fuel and filter, and a shot of ether and she fired right up. I had to bypass the shutoff solenoid because it wasn't functioning. It was music to my ears when she fired up! Surprisingly all the brakes broke loose within 20 feet of moving forward. I had to replace 1 small airline and was able to drive it 5 miles to my buddies house. The truck is in rough shape so I'll probably part it out or sell whole if anyone is interested in it. Here is the truck:

Awesome, I've seen two Road Boss's for sale in the last few months. One hasn't moved in 5 years with a 300 Big Cam, the other was a used daily truck with a 290 Formula. Shoot me some details on it, I've been wanting to rock an old ugly truck for fun at pulls for a while now.

What does a truck like that run you?

I thought they were $1? It's been a few years since I've bought some, I still have one left out of my last pack.

I don't remember either haha, they're damn cheap, I do know that

This truck is pretty impressive with just the free/cheap mods done to it, most of my miles are in the winter so the resistor really makes a difference.

yes but just like the others it only adds power until the fuel is actually hot. Once the tanks are hot the resistor does nothing.

Right. Might do that after we get these issues addressed.

This one is a 2 wire so I just unplug it and jump it with the resistor.

On the three wire setup you have to strip wire and install the resistor in line with the wire, John know which wire it is.
