Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Not particularly, but I'd think I'd rather deal with a little extra cleaning. Just my take on it though.

One steel mill I go to has dump trucks haul the slag out. Driveway is always a disaster with black goo. Another place the drive between the gate and some of the loading doors is just under 4 miles at 25mph on nasty neglected driveways. You learn to love fenders after spending $100+ on a wash or spending a weekend polishing 8+ axles of wheels. I'm so anal about it I tried to lift all but one trailer axle with 85k on the deck just to keep the tires clean but the suspension wouldn't lift it even with 3 bags. Lol

I'm with him. I don't like most full fenders and stuff but there are certain ones that look good if done right if you ask me.

Last time I saw side that high the were holding back sugar beets.

Asphalt/dump truck. Long flaps get ripped off in quick short order.

With that said, I'm making all new flaps this weekend and they will be long. Just have to hang them every time I dump or leave the pavement.

How do you get stuck on flat ground? I haven't gotten stuck since Oct when a road collapsed on me and the front end went into the ditch.

It's been raining for 5 days straight here. It's Arkansas...
I weighed 75,500...
Do the math.

Don't drive down gravel much either? Are shoulders aren't paved. My one truck with half fenders had the paint an rack all beat to piss. That won't be happening on my w9. Plus hauling with a detach lowbed and chance tossing rocks at a machine. Even with tarped windows why chance it.

The only disadvantage I see with full fenders is chaining up, but I do more of that in a week than most guys do in a year so I'm the oddball out in that respect

I never really liked the double hump fenders but my dad just put a set on his FLD and I really like the look. Being that he is always hooked to a Lowboy fenders over all three axles are a must.

The biggest pain in the ass is the fender has to come off to take off the tires.

Chains are for coils not for tires.

As far as fenders they must be heavy stainless Hoge's or alum. I wouldn't put those junk ass WTI's on a lawnmower. You look at them wrong and they're broke.

There might be controls to the dump where he's standing lol

There's all different kinds... Stay there, over there, up here. Blow your horn, tell me when, hit that switch, don't touch that... Yada yada yada lol

In Saskatchewan there's an ethanol plant with a big ass robot arm, truck never even has to move haha

I've seen those, seen the ones that have different tubes and still don't have to move, one tube you move the truck, flat storage (blows).
I always had better luck with the multiple tubes, or someone who knew what they were doing and could tell you how much comes out after I say when lol.
