TANK 6.0L Modified Off-road truck finally tested.

It's a really nice truck first hand. Lots of work put into it.

Glad you finally decided to slap it on the dyno...just wish I could have stayed longer.
 
That thing was screaming every time he shifted. It was pretty cool to watch. Better than what DJ did for me. He made me lose HP. I went down to 120hp. :rockwoot:

BTW- I only shifted to get it into 4th 1:1 ratio....lol

Way to go Jay, That is some serious hp, if you rolled that with 40+" tall tires. Big Congratulations
 
I will say one thing though...them boys at TNT are SLOW!

I think I got there right at 10AM. By 2PM they had done only 4 trucks. That's horrible! I think out of those 4 only one of them was actually getting tuned.
 
Was that on DJ's Looney tune or something different? If it is Looney, I might have to contact DJ and see what he can do for me.

Where did you dyno it? Looks like TNT.

I was there a week or so ago, what a bunch of idiots. I had to wait 2 hours then when they finally hooked me up, they made 4 or 5 pulls on my truck. Not one of them was even use able. They couldn’t read the RPM’s, the curves were ridiculous the best one looked like this /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ .
 
by the time I ran...about 8pm...all the bugs were worked out,..and my truck performed flawlessly

I think a lot of the guys that dyno'd that day were running the Looney. I run something with a little more "sauce" to it. I was running the Looney Race for a good while and then we "customized" it a little. That's the tune I dropped 446rwhp on.

We were at TNT, and they are ridiculous. They were having problems initially reading the RPM's. Then they couldn't read the torque. I'd say by about 3PM or so they had it worked out pretty good...it was just too bad we had been there since 10AM. My dyno run was flawless as well. Pulled it in, strapped her down, made a 443rwhp run, turned up the fuel to match another tune I have but did not bring with me, and then slapped down a 446rwhp run.
 
Yup...I got "special Customizing" too.

But ...I have DJ looking further into things,... he said he'll be designing a new tune...specifically for me.
