Saturday April 26th TS Outlaw Race/sled pull date

I have danced away 70% chances in the past.... 40% aint nothin'

You keep right on practicing. :hehe: It's dropped down to 30% as of tonight, and now they are saying it's going to be pretty on Friday. These weather people :poke:

i'm so ready! TS is like an addiction that you can only satisfy once a year!

FYI... I will not be partaking. I'm ill from the sight of them lol.

ON EDIT** Though give me 2am, a tail gate, and some beer, and I'll probably change my mind lol.

Just re-asking a question by Norris. Do you have to pre-register for the pull or just sign up on saturday? A good question I'd also like to know the answer to......

Sign up on Saturday for the pull. Participants need to be at the fairgrounds around 3:00pm. The first hook is at 6:00pm. That should give spectators time to get from Beech Bend over to the Southern KY Fairgrounds for when the pulls start.

Everyone have a safe trip to Bowling Green.

Keep on dancing Timbeaux :Cheer::hehe::shake:

Don't get too excited about the weather yet. You won't get an accurate forecast for Saturday until Friday night and it could still change then. That's just the way weather is in Middle-Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Scott

I'm trying to not let alter my plans, but it would be nice to know if Sunday would be a back up day for drag racing. This could make or break a LOT of people going or not, me included---depending how things are looking by Thurday night. The sled pulls would probably not be affected since it's Saturday night, but no matter how you slice it, Saturday morning/afternoon's weather ain't giving me a warm fuzzy.

At this point we are not too concerned. The 30% they are predicting for Sat. appears to be a minimal amount. Beech Bend has track dryers if the need arises. As a matter of fact they used them three times last Saturday at The Chrysler Classic, and the sled pull track will be done and covered.

Heck maybe we can get Timbeaux out there with Heather's hair dryer :badidea: :hehe:

haloman, did I see you post a while back that you'd be recording the pulls?

I am for sure going to get the 2.6 and 2.8 classes. I may not get the bigger classes as they are not as much of an interest to me.

I'll also be recording. I'm going to try and get anything and everything I can.

That's the ONE benefit of not having my truck there. That I actually get to SEE what's going on and I'm not stuck in the pits or staging lanes, missing the action. So even though I don't get to compete, it's still a blast to catch up on the show!!

I have 4 gallons of super secret stuff in a cooler, two big pots and assorted cookware loaded up.

Rolling out about 9 AM tomorrow, see ya'll there :D
