New head fixed all that, now I blew head gasket again and slite miss is back. I had all three problems at the same time so it made it a real nightmare to try to fix. So I cant swear to it but I think its the head is either cracked or the head gasket is blown. My head had several valve seats cracked on top of blown head gasket.

Did you ever figure out your lope issue??? My 98 is doing the same and I can't track it down. Runs smooth until it warms up then gets a real fast lope, under load it's smooth again just when it's in park it does it, thanks for any info you got -
