467/83/1.0 over ht4c ?

SCHMITTY

Not enough time
Gathering parts for my stockish '94. The truck has the stock turbo, injectors,160 pump with 4ks. I have a ht4c with the 28cm exhaust. I plan on just using the 467 for now but wondering if the 4c would pair up well with the 467.*

Have-
467 and ht4c already
dpc triple 2400 stall 27 spline
built up 47rh
215 pump
4ks
vulcan dual feed
traction bars- on truck
150lb valve springs
yukon grizzly locker-intruck
diamond eye hx40 dp
tcs 27 spline input
firepunk comp 2 vb

need-
5x18s
delivery valves
4 5/8 flange to hx40
better retainers/keepers
sump
studs eventually
lift pump
t4 manifold
s400 compressor elbow
kdp

Bought this truck off a customer of mine. Came with the trans I built, locker. threw my old traction bars on. the 23 spline tcs shaft twisted off on a 2-3 shift after i bought it. scored a 27 spline and stator support for 600$. Just got the converter back, freshened up 467. The 215 pump has been sitting in my shop for 5 years. Came off a good running truck. I want a solid 11 second 1/4 mile truck with just the 467. i also have a rebuilt hc5a f trim with a 51cm exhaust. I was going to put a smaller housing on the hc5 and compound my old semi with the ht4c but plans changed.

Going to be cruising around with 2400 stall and the stock charger fueling until late may. Id sell the big holsets if someone wanted them . Shipping would suck.

Here it is . Pretty clean for these parts 5k$ with 800 miles on a decent rebuild . He recently got married , saving for a house ….

Picking up a sport bumper and grill. I did post this truck last summer when I picked it up. Also scored another 94 for 3k in rougher shape. Stock pump though and exhaust . Snagged it for my 13 year old and it’s a 4x4 sclb.

Hate it when the pics are rotated

Cool project. How do you like that locker? I'm fairly certain they are torsen style and thinking about replacing my clutch style with one

Shouldn’t be any problem running an 11 with that setup and the single 67. Looking forward to some updates on this one.

I ran a 467 with a high dollar HT4C with a billet wheel, smaller turbine I had built.

It made it 400ft on the 1st pass and came apart.
Put a S485 with the same 467, and they worked well.

It locks up better than the worn factory unit in the old 12v I use to have but its damn noisy and when I turn on pavement I can feel it chatter. The previous owner installed it. I called the manufacturer and they said its normal. I need to pull the diff cover off and take a peek.

Did you drive it much before taking it to the drag strip ?

how fast have you gone with the 467/485 ?

The HT4C came from a "big name" builder I'm not gonna mention, it was trash from the start.

I ran high 9's with the 467/85 set, and I'm sure they had more potential than that.

I do on my phone, send me a number and I'll text it to you.

I ran a no hotpipe setup, primary was bolted directly to the secondary with a adapter I made. Worked great
