What you said before was that you would use it to shift when racing. I'll try to re-word my answer LOL

Being it just replaces the column shifter, you can do the manual 1-2, or 2-3 shift by yourself, but if the trans isn't ready to shift then it won't shift. That's all I was trying to say. Sorry for mucking it up.
