5.9 CR going in a 1984 GMC 1500

Just read through the whole build and that is one sweet ride and some awesome fab work and attention to detail.

Nice! Looks like it leaves pretty square, too.

BTW, dont sweat the turn-up. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Thanks. Yeah it goes straight and acts right. Just a little slow. Lol

I've been busy the last 2 months on this turd. Re painted it (nightmare)... ARP 625 head studs, valve job, Hamilton 103# springs, ATS T4 manifold, BW S369SX-E charger, redid the exhaust. Here are some pics.

Thanks. So far i'm very impressed. Spools better than I expected and pulls really hard.

Love this truck. Always will have a soft spot for square body chevys.

Thanks.

I just got a set of DDP 90hp nozzles from Reed and a fresh csp5 tune from Lavon, hoping to have them installed in the next couple weeks. Can't wait to get a little more power out of it.

You hang around that Lavon fella long enough, the HP just seems to rub off. ...and I'm just talking from what I've seen. I have personally never met the fella.

Lol. I hear that. I've actually never met him in person either. Just talked over phone and email. Great guy to deal with in my opinion.
