Difference In lb7 and lbz?

I was just seen what the difference is in a lbz and lb7 in a dual cp3 kit for a cummins? Did they use different ones for different year cummins?

Originally, the LBZ pump was designed to handle more psi b/c that engine's fuel system had a higher running pressure (23,000psi vs 26,000 IIRC).

What Tom said. I think most the cummins guys want LBZ pumps to add on.

Ok but as far as mounting and fiting locations on pump are they the same on lbz and lb7??? Just one makes more psi than the other??
