when I was a kid I put thousands acres of grain in the ground with a 3010, never had much issue with it at all, cut and baled a few hundred acres of grass hay with a model A and model 70 JD as well, so it can be done without much power, just might not be too fast doing it.
A 460 was mentioned earlier, we have one that my grandfather bought brand new, and now that he's gone I'm trying to get my dad to let me haul that sucker to the recyclers. It hasn't run right since the day I was born.
We've had several 806's that were good, but I've never seen one that would start without the magic can.
