Looking for 9" advice

Thanks everybody. I'm working hard to get it together so I make some passes this weekend. I sat in it with it running, and couldn't help but to do a little burnout. If I am successful I will put some videos on youtube.

:woohoo: I just drove it!! The steering wheel is off about an 1/8th of a turn, not too bad considering I just slapped the 4 link bars in there without measuring anything... It's really really close to being able to run it down the strip!:snoop:
 
The exhaust and window are in.

It's down to some wiring and suspension work.
 
Damn that looks great. Wont you have more drag with the bottom bed cut out? Could you post a pick how the bed bolts thanks.

Thanks a lot! Brad and I have been thrashing on it pretty hard to have it ready in time. Good luck at the pulls next weekend, were going to miss you guys.
 
Damn that looks great. Wont you have more drag with the bottom bed cut out? Could you post a pick how the bed bolts thanks.

It'll have a tonneau cover, and maybe some tin work eventually, just don't have time right now. I used the factory mounts in the front and back, and braced the fenders up a bit.

small update...Been to the track twice. I've been running consistant low 11's, with low 1.6x 60' times. I finally busted a 10.99 at the Sacramento Truck drags. I had the truck tuned to run nitrous, but the dang controller didn't work, so I ran fuel only with low timing. Here is a few videos.

Thats Awesome ive been follwoing this thread for a long time. and just want to say Great job. Im doin the same thing to my dakota, i hope ill be able to cut 1.6 60's within the first 3 times at the track
 
Just wait untill he gets all the little bugs worked out and dialed in. He WILL be a forced to be reconed with. Colin is a very good drag racer that is very consistant with the tree and the top end of the track. Im very proud of him and happy to be on his team!

Thanks. I wish I could say it was all me, but I have had a ton of help from some really tallented people who helped me set up the chassis.

It's been awhile since I updated this thread. I got the parachute all buttoned up.

New cam, springs, retainers, and push rods, from Hamilton Cams. Adjustable pump gear from Jesse, and a Scheid front cover with a cam gear support. I'm going to give the Jegs water pump a shot.

I'm trying to get things ready for this season. Looks like it'll be another year without paint. There is still a ton of things I would like to get done, but you know how time flies.
