NHRA vs Street Outlaws

NHRA is probably mad because they want their cut. Most street racing goes on very late at night, and usually in a secluded location. I mean they are street racers, so they probably don't give a **** about a certification anyway.

I watched the show a bit this weekend, are these cars really all that strong? Don't get me wrong, 950 on motor is getting it done. But how would they fair on the track? really seems like the nitrous engines are almost doubling power with massive progressive shots

You have to also understand the numbers they tell you are complete BS. They are not going to advertise real HP numbers. That motor in Docs car makes more than 950 on fuel.

Then why share it? Idk. I don't care for all the drama. Just wanna see more of that kind of racing

Looks like one of the street outlaw guys is being charged with murder for street racing...

That doesn't really matter. He was obviously behind the push for street racing, associated with the show, and killed 2 people doing it.

I think using the shows name is inappropriate in this instance.

The guy is from California and was on one show.. hardly a part of the cast.

I guess I don't care about street racing enough to understand your point.

Murder is also incorrect...manslaughter at best.

Using the shows name is akin to saying ED is caused by Viagra commercials.

You're trying so hard to glorify street racing that you still can't see the problem. You continue to support the show, I will support NHRA. It's that simple, I don't give a **** about ratings.

I am mearly speaking in semantics...you're the one making unfounded accusations.

I watch the show, attend NHRA events, and work at an IHRA track. Your argument is invalid.

Yet you don't understand NHRA's position and can't understand why this has anything to do with the argument. You're missing something upstairs..

You have made some stupid comments in the past. But god damn does this take the cake. You're projecting.

Prove me wrong. Support your stance. I don't support street racing, never have. Neither does the NHRA. And made the move to show their disgust with it. The show supports it, blatantly pushes it. This guy felt the same way, enough so to be on the show. Then takes out a couple of bystanders while street racing. So again, lets hear it.

What fast and furious movie are we on? I do so want me a Mustang with a 2jz so I can Street race, run from the cops, and smuggle ****. I know my life was changed by Vin Diesel. How about everyone else?
It's all show and has little to no bearing to reality.
