In my experience, the only time the only time where the tru trac failed to spin both tires was when one tire was up in the air. Other than that (which is to be expected from a L/S), mine have all worked great!
Also, it's been mentioned before that lockers can get pretty squirrelly when driving on wet pavement or snow/ice, so if its a DD, best to go with a selectable. ARBs have always been my preference for that.
