Not to derail the derail, but I'm using the stock 24v cable on mine. I drilled out the original 12v ball end on the linakge, and attached the arm from the APPS to it.

thats a good idea i would use my old shoelaces but my mom never taught me how to tie my shoes so al i have is velcro shoes lol
