Refined list of 6.7 parts.

Little list of miscellaneous parts that should be in good condition:

2008 6.7 injectors, had ~ 50,000 miles on them, $400/set SHIPPED.

6.7 CP3 pump with ~100,000, ran good when removed, $275 SHIPPED.

ARP 425 head studs, nice shape, no rust on any, $280 SHIPPED.

Fuel rail with lines and sensor, $200 SHIPPED.

Complete red DODGE upper and lower valve cover set-up for 2007-2009, comes with all bolts, gasket and rocker box, $250.

ECM from a 2007.5 with a 6 speed, works as it should, $450 SHIPPED.

Transfer tubes, nice clean units, set of 6 for $65 SHIPPED.

Pulled 2 very, very nice 6.7 cranks today.
I believe they both will polish and run, $675 plus shipping through Fastenal OR provide BOL.

Also pulled 2 nice sets of rods, $125 SHIPPED per set.

1 set of very, very nice pistons, with pins and clips, $100 SHIPPED.

2 sets of rockers, with pedestals and bolts, 1 plastic tip retained set and one pressed tip set, $125 SHIPPED per set.

Got in a 2015 core that likely ate a valve seat, since I can feel something touch as I rotate it.
It's pretty complete, as pictured and I will part it out.

Mark.

Pulled the 2015 down and found damage.
It dropped a seat, trashed the piston top and did some cylinder damage on #2.

This is getting more and more common on the 2013 and up engines, with the unshrouded exhaust valves.

Pics show the damage, 3rd one is of the damage to the head.

I'd take $1300 for this short block.

Hey Mark,
Any gut feeling as to why the newer 6.7 are dropping seats? And what are the best ways to avoid it? Super interested cause I was excited to run one of those new style heads...

More to the point of your thread, Do you have those 425 studs still? I am assuming that they were 24v studs?

Thanks!

My thoughts on seats dropping are too much heat and probably a loose fit.
The dimple between exhaust valves doesn't impress me, either.
Seems like a place that's thinner, so it gets hotter.

As far as the 425s, they are 24 valve and I have 2 sets, each with 1 torque per set on them.

Picked up 2 well-seared 6.7 longblocks.
A 2017 with under 40k and a 2015.
Both spin freely and have cracked shelves.

Pulling heads on both over the weekend.

If the bores are nice, $1600 a shortblock, or $1900 with heads, pushrods and rockers.

Sent you a pm on a set of 425s if you still have them. Thanks.

1 set of 425s sold.
Also sold some of the miscellaneous stuff, like rockers, valve covers and pumps, last week. Then used it to pay the bills!

C'mon! Someone make me a deal on all of this 6.7 stuff!
Package deal! Come look with 1 or 2 stuffed wallets and you can own it all! :hehe:

Pulled down 2 engines today, a 2015 and a 2017.
One ('15) has very nice bores, the other ('17) likely needs punched .020.

So, now I have the following from these 2 engines:

2017 shortblock, light rust in bores, recommend boring .020, has a nice crank, no pan or accessories, $1400.

2015 shortblock, zero rust in the bores, nice hone marking, has a nice crank, no pan or accessories, $1600.

2 sets of lower miles pressed tip rockers, with stands and bolts, NO HEAT DAMAGE, $125/set SHIPPED.

1 set of injectors, 3 from the '15 and 3 from the '17, $75/apiece SHIPPED.

68RFE or AISEN adapter plates, little sooty, not melted or broken, $125 SHIPPED.

I also have the 2 heads from these engines, plus 5 others (7 total) that have cracked intakes, so they'd be okay for cutoffs for aftermarket intakes.
I'd sell the whole batch for $1900 and I WILL PAY FREIGHT!!!
The offer on the heads is good through SATURDAY of this week.

The head offer is still on the table!

I also have two 6.7 blocks with very rusty bores, either of which would be solid foundations for a sleeved and deck plated engine.
$350 apiece, or $600 for the pair.

Pulled down a 2015 today, have a block with damage to #3 bore from a dropped seat, would bore .020, $650.
Also have a very clean, nice, standard crank from a 2009, $675.

Sold 3 longblocks and a shortblock yesterday, for a smoking deal.
Still have some rusty 6.7 blocks, a bunch of 5.9/6.7 heads, along with a bunch of other 5.9, 6.0 and 7.3 stuff, all headed to the iron in a while.

Pulled apart a 2008 with engine tar in it the other day.
The block needs bored, crank is likely toast, might go .020 on R/Ms.

$550 for the block and the tar is free. :D

SHIPPING is running an average of $140 through Fastenal, at the moment.

Picked up a 2015 6.7 core the other day, minus the turbo and fan hub, it's complete from cover to pan, flywheel to damper, with fuel rail, injectors and CP3.
With the exception of the longblock (which needs to be pulled down and checked over), it'll part as follows:

Fuel rail and lines, with CP3 line, $250 SHIPPED.

Injectors, as cores, $400/set SHIPPED.

Complete 6.7 valve cover, including rocker box, injector harness and all bolts, $250 SHIPPED.

Full set of fixed tip rocker arms, with pedestals, $150 SHIPPED.

68RFE adapter plate, $135 SHIPPED.

Harmonic damper, with bolts, $125 SHIPPED.

I also have a burned 2015 shortblock, with slightly rusty bores, that rotates 360* and should clean at .020, $1300.

Finally, I still have the tarred-up 2008 6.7 block listed above, as well as 2 bare blocks that need bored or sleeved, for $550 each.
