Yeah, Bob totally came to the rescue when certain Cummins Swap Specialists could not fix my ECM issues (APPS would not work properly, I'll find the post shortly and post the link). Heck, Bob even contacted me and told me he had a solution! He hooked me up with a recovery flash, and then a reflash of the ECM.
Not a problem since. And on top of that, he got Marco to turn it around in a couple days after talking.
Get this...while I was trying to trouble shoot my truck, I managed to fry BHaner's Smarty because I was trying to wire in the OBDII port correctly. He took of the burnt Smarty, and at THAT POINT, I was already sold on the customer service.
See, the real problem is that Bob posts on this website. He puts on his Nomex underwear, and takes a flaming from disgruntled people.
Bob, you should never have joined this board. Now people expect you to listen to every complaint, every hiccup, every screw up on the users' side, and such. There aren't that many manufacturers of electronic go-fast goodies on ANY diesel site for that matter. Bob's just brave, I guess. :rockwoot:
And I agree, people who are satisfied with their products hardly ever post..anywhere. It's just the status quo, what they expect from the advertising.
