Young gun's 94 build thread

It really does run awesome! Im sitting at a conservative 24* aswell, I could have easily increased the timing to the 28-30* range and broke into my goal of low 900's on nitrous and improved my fuel only numbers by a good 30-50hp just in timing changes. Overall I'm pretty pumped! Now to just add that hx82 on top of everything..... :D

Are people using those check valves with fass/ electric pumps. It seems more people are using those compared to regulators

No pictures or updates, other than I'm finally building my 475/hx82 compound setup. There were a lot of mental blocks for me since I need another 3k in supporting mods, but I figured what the heck, build it, run it, and have some fun.

Started cutting the inner fender yesterday... :D

Accomplished a little today. Don't laugh at the tack weld, tried to use .035 dual shield and quickly realized that was a mistake.

Glad to have you back. Hope the mission went well. A lot has changed over the last couple years.

Good to see you posting again buddy. I always liked reading your build threads and such.

Those 90's look familiar ?

Thicker = more heat kept inside the hot pipe. Also it's going to support the weight of the hx82 after I figure out a good way to bring a support from the motor mount.

Not knocking them at all, I use them at work quite often.

I work maintenance as a welder ( I use that term loosely lol ) in an oil refinery. Have fabbed up lots of piping systems and used a lot of those

Expensive little guys at about 35$ a pop. Between the flanges and those 90's I have over 100$ in this hot pipe easy. :)
