Young gun's 94 build thread

Id love to drive my truck. Its only been 8 months.

1 year 7 months since I drove drove my 98. And about 2.5 years since it ran right lol.

I haven't been able to drive mine for about 3 years :(

gawd, you guys are as bad as me. Haven't truly driven(its been up and down the road a little testing out valvebody tweaks) mine since May 2013. Got parked for a bad starter, then it was a fuel system swap, then an auto swap, then lowering, now it's a p pump swap and a new set of compounds lol

Started assembly, also set my ring end gaps to .028 top and .030 middle, straight out of the box they were .018 top and .020 middle. I also had the bore opened up a tad and added .002 to the piston to wall clearance for a total of .005.

Rings are loaded on the Pistons, main studs are installed, just need to install new bearings, plasti-gauge everything and the bottom end is ready to rock. Hopefully this weekend I'll get to swap everything else onto the new motor!

How close are you to getting it together? Also what's the fuel and air plans

I'm aiming for this weekend to at least have the motor in and running. As far as fuel and air I've changed my plans from building the 475/hx82 to a 366/483 from ED. I have the 483 but I don't have the 66 yet, gotta sell the 75 first.

I'll get it running with the 75 and drive it until the turbo sells and I can get the 66 ordered. Right now the fuel system consists of a AD 150, the 13mm, and Will Terry's 5x.020's. The 13mm ended up getting flowed with stock delivery valves since I somehow misplaced my comp cuts. It did 600cc without a plate and it's set to 500 right now with the plate set all the way back, that will obviously change when I install a new set of 7mm delivery valves from Will.

Who did your pump? It sounds strange that you only have 100cc of adjustment? Also are you will to sell the hx82?
