A Decade In Review Were Are They Now ??

Back in the day I had a ford lightning, i thought it was quick until Chris Hawk (c-hawk on here) put a hurting on me coming back from Ocean City hot rod cruise. Thats when I found out about diesel power. I started looking up videos and who did I find but Scott Vorhees and the original BBD...which made me want to build a puller...

How about a shop from Jersey that talked about how they were gonna lay the smack down in a heads up class that would one day be called pro-street only to enter the brackets after they saw a hilljack from Georgia make a pass...

does anyone remember an old p-pump guru by the name of Joey Pruett? he got me into it around 02' when he modded my dads 98' 12v, and I bought my 01' in 04'!

the guy is like on drugs now or something
i did some buisness with joey when i first got into this.he hooked me up with chargers and injects and led me to Joe webb and sun coast. he helped me put a daily driver in the 12s with nos in 2001. havnt talked wit him in about 2 years, hope yout wrong about the drug deal...

09/2004 is off from 2001. :poke: I remember the early 2000-2001 days when edge was just starting out. very exciting times back then for electronics :Cheer:

Blue Chip was in the electronics market EARLY. Was Larry Crawford running Blue Chip stuff at Thunder in Muncie?

Larry was running super secret "I am in the House of Representatives and your not" stuff back then. Ray is good. Still living in Missourah. My buddy Lynn has been trying to get him to post on here.

There has to be video someplace. He shifted because that was his first year with a p-pump 24valve and it ran terrible.

24 valves sucked then and still do.:kick:

In 02, I think I was the only puller NOT to be beat by Larry Crawford.
Just think, if he would got me at Thunder in Muncie, ALL YOUR worlds would be different, right now!!!:evil:hehe:

Not a problem!! Give me your keys and I'll school you!:shake:

I was waiting for one of you haters to mention that, and it is ironic you do it on a nostalgia thread. Isnt that the idea of the thread? LOL.

I thought on a nostalgia thread other people should be mentioning folks, not folks talking about how great they used to be!:hehe:

Easy now guys I didnt post this so the neewbies could take jabs at the old timers...lol

But, what else is Gene good for??

I also know that back in the Late 03-04 time frame, old Brandon Miller (Joefarmer) was making 600-648hp with a 99 VP truck...at the time he was one of less than 10 in the country that were known...that truck helped get me hooked on this sport...

And to think it's been 7 years already since I've been doing this stuff...makes me feel old:hehe: I can't image how old you old guys feel:D
Chris

I wish I got to meet him I have heard so much about him from Adam Winslett and Adam Sprague along with Chris Sutton. Those are the guys who started it out on the west coast. Sprague has told me about going to pulls and they didnt know what class to put him in because no one else was pulling with diesels.

i want this truck Video by Isaiah - MySpace Video

Nowel was an awesome man, and I enjoyed the short time that I knew him went to his place a couple of times remember helping Chris put in the twins at his place out there in Half Moon Bay when I first got stationed here. Those two Adam guy's you mention are just nutz :)

BTW in the video that is is Adam's old truck but after he sold it I believe correct? I think he sold it before 2007.

I was going to post some old video's from the Diesel Central site but I see it is no more.
